Nanotechnology research is rapidly growing. Soon it will be a useable science. But we've got competition. The Chinese have expressed the intention of being the first to create a workable nano factory.
America is known for innovation; for entrepreneurs that come up with awesome scientific developments (Michael Dell, the people in NASA, the researchers in nanotechnology, and so much more). But the Chinese want to catch up - and they have reportedly chosen the field of nanotechnology as one of their major targets. They call it a "science Megaproject," and Chinese researchers hope to catch up to the U.S. by 2020. Kids? Stay in school - we need you! We need all our children to love and be fascinated by all things science. Specializing in a scientific discipline can give a child the opportunity of important work. For life. And a chance to contribute to the improvement of our culture, and perhaps even humanity. Nanotechnology is awesome. Check out the animation. |
